Octagonal Automatic Skeleton Watch — Integrated Steel Bracelet
£89.99
The Octagonal Skeleton
No battery. Nothing to replace. It runs on the motion of your wrist.
An eight-sided stainless steel case, brushed across the flats and polished along every bevel, so the shape reads differently with each turn of the arm. At the centre the dial is cut away: a black outer ring carries twelve applied steel batons, and inside them the automatic movement is left on view — bridges, gear train and the balance wheel turning under its bridge. A dial opened up like this only works if there is something behind it worth showing.

Automatic, on an Integrated Steel Bracelet
An automatic movement is wound by the swing of your arm. Wear it and it keeps time. Set it down for two days and it stops, waiting to be picked up and turned. That is the trade, and it is why a mechanical watch ends up feeling owned rather than used.
The bracelet is stainless steel and starts where the case ends — no lugs, no seam between the two — the same construction that runs through The Prestige Edit. At 42 mm across and 14.6 mm deep, this is a watch with weight, and it sits on the wrist like one. Water resistance is 3 ATM, or 30 metres: rain and a splash at the sink. It is not a swimming watch, and we would rather say so here than let you find out.
How to Wear It
Steel and an open dial want a shirt cuff sitting just above them — an Oxford, sleeve turned back once, nothing else on the wrist. The octagon does the work a round case cannot. It catches an edge of light and holds it, so the watch gets noticed at the table before anyone asks about it.
For the man who would rather own one mechanical watch than three that run on a battery. Priced so you can wear it on an ordinary Tuesday without thinking about it.
